CARRICKFERGUS Golf Club's Senior Scratch Cup has been won by Peter Moore.

A score of 143 amassed over a weekend’s golf was just enough to see off the challenge of Bill McAtamney, who finished on the same total, and Richard Moore, on 144.

The best nett score, 63, was recorded by Stephen McLaughlin, with Gary Barbour just behind on 64.

In the ladies’ section, the Netta McFadden trophy was won by Debbie Skilling with 39 points, ahead of Rosemary Lamont, who finished on the same score, and Ruth Mawhinney, on 36.
