‘Scream’ mask assault case

Shortly before 1am on November 1 it was reported that a teenage girl was sexually assaulted by an unknown male in the area of Edenmore Street and Northland Road. The male is described as being dressed in black and wearing a scream mask with blood over the face.

Hallowe’en celebrations were taking place in Londonderry on this night and Police would wish to speak with anyone who was wearing a scream costume on the night in question so they can be eliminated from their enquiries.
