Sea Cadets mark amost successful year

Larne Sea Cadets met at Dixon Hall in Drains Bay recently to celebrate another successful year.

Commander Buchan-Steele, area officer, carried out his inspection of the unit, TS Abercorn, and recommended the award of another Pennant to display, keeping up the full numerical sequence since Larne Sea Cadets reformed in 1988.

One of the highlights of the year for the unit was to be represented by one of their own cadets on a select UK delegation to Russia. Another was for two Larne Cadets to meet the Queen during her visit to Northern Ireland.
