Seapatrick effort earns praise from Savage

UPPER Bann UUP MLA George Savage has congratulated the residents of Seapatrick who have managed to make it to the last nine villages in the Calor 'Village of the Year' competition.

The awards are designed to celebrate the most vibrant, enterprising and caring of Northern Ireland’s, many small rural communities. The competition awards the winning village the highly sought after title of Village of the Year and includes a cash prize which can be used to further add to the villages image and help the rural community needs.

Speaking from his Banbridge Constituency Office, Mr Savage said, “I want to tell the good people of Seapatrick to keep up the good work and effort they have put into taking part in this competition. Seapatrick is a lovely rural village and to see them get this far is brilliant.

“I want to congratulate the villagers for taking so much pride in their local area.”

and for celebrating its uniqueness in order to reach this point in the contest. I hope that they can keep up all the good work.

“Well done to all those who are involve, I genuinely hope that Seapatrick can do it and walk away with the winning title.”
