Search launched for top Indian chefs

A SEARCH has been launched to find home chefs cooking Indian dishes to take part in a cultural extravaganza in September.

The organisers are hoping to hear from those who make yummy vegetarian dishes that will tantalise people to attend the community-based cultural event which is planned as part of an indian cultural programme on September 3 at Clooney Hall on Clooney Terrace. It will run from 12.30pm to 4pm.

The programme will start with a short religious ceremony, and will be followed by an Indian vegetarian cooking competition and lastly lunch.

There will be prizes of gift vouchers for the winners. The Categories are: Main course, or desserts and sweets, and the closing date for entry is August 27. There are limited places for the event, which will be on a first come first basis. The entry fee is £5.
