Seaside fun at Arcadia Open Day

The day of free family fun will be held from 11am to 4pm with a Punch and Judy show, face painting and two special dance workshops by local choreographers 'Just Dance', who will be teaching popular routines from Disney's High School Musical and popular television show Glee.

Children will also be able to enjoy the Arcadia's supervised outdoor pool and play area.

Tanya Gillen of the Arcadia, Portrush, says: "We have been open for a couple of months and have received a great deal of interest and support from the local community. I am delighted to have been afforded the opportunity of resurrecting the Arcadia and I relish the challenge in bringing it back to its former glory.

"I decided to have an official 2010 Open Day to make the public and our Portrush visitors aware that we are open for business.

"I look forward to welcoming locals and visitors to the Arcadia for a great family day out on June 26. While children are enjoying the afternoon's entertainment, parents are encouraged to come inside the Arcadia to sample the caf or and to have a mini tour."
