Second cafe culture night in pipeline for Larne

Community group Larne Renovation Generation is planning to hold a second cafe culture night after the success of the first event in June.

The purpose of the scheme is to boost activity in Larne town centre in the evenings by hosting a range of activities, such as musical performances and poetry readings, in local cafes.

“We had a great turn-out last time and we hope to attract even more people to the next event, “ said the founder of the Larne Renovation Generation Andy King.

“We are currently talking to local businesses and we are planning to hold the event in September.

“We hope that such events will help to rejuvenate Larne’s night-time economy and give a boost to local businesses.

“Local people turned out in force to support the first event and we are looking forward to the next one,” he concluded.
