Sunset Over Abendau is the second book in the Inheritance trilogy, created by Eden writer Jo Zebedee.

The first book, Abendau’s Heir, was released last year by Northumberland-based publisher Tickety Boo Press.

The sci-fi ‘space opera’ received a warm reception from readers, generating a number of positive reviews on websites Amazon and Goodreads.

Abendau’s Heir followed the story of Kare, who is caught between his cruel mother, the Empress, and his father, who wants to lead a rebellion against her.

In Sunset Over Abendau, we once again follow Kare, who promised he’d hold the Empire for ten years and no longer.

“A decade later, he’s no nearer to freeing himself. Haunted by past events, in a role he hates, the temptation to walk away bites deep,” a summary from the publisher reads.

“When the lost heritage of his father is revealed a new future opens to him, one threatened when old enemies rise against those he loves.

“To safeguard them, Kare will have to fight for the Empire he hates and face the deadly secret hidden deep in Abendau’s deserts.”

Sunset Over Abendau will be officially launched in the coming weeks at Easons Belfast branch.

An audio version of Abendau’s Heir will be released later this month.
