Second man arrest in relation to Cookstown shooting
Police are questioning a 30-year-old man they arrested this morning in connection with a shooting incident at a house in the Drumcree area of Cookstown on June 5.
The man was arrested at Dungannon Police Station today (Tuesday, June 14) and currently remains in custody assisting police with their enquiries.
Detective Inspector Will Tate said: “I would continue to appeal to anyone who knows anything about this incident to contact detectives at Cookstown Police Station on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 1131 of 05/06/16.
“Or if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
