Sectarian attack

POLICE have appealed for people who witnessed a sectarian attack on a teenager in the Creggan Estate to come forward with information.

A PSNI spokeswoman says police want to speak to anyone who saw the incident which occurred on Sunday (14 February) in the Central Drive area of the estate.

"The victim was attacked by a group of youths and subjected to sectarian abuse. Police are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area around 10pm, particularly the driver of a red car that stopped to provide assistance to the teenager," she said.
