Section judges impressed by show standards

Show judge was Mr Eugene Larkin, Maze and chairman of Northern Ireland Branch of the British Driving Society.

Stewards at the event were: Mr Gibson Peake, (Saintfield) Mr John Powell (Lambeg), Mrs Marion Pentland and Mr Matthew Pentland (Crossgar).

Judges and stewards said that they were kept busy at this year’s show which is one of the Lurgan Park Show’s biggest events. Thousands of spectators enjoyed the display, which had entrants from all over the country for the 101st Lurgan Park Show.

Thankfully, apart from a few showers, the crowds, as well as the participants, enjoyed good weather.

The Lurgan and District and Horse and Cattle show section secretary and announcer was Margaret Carlisle from Lisburn.
