Security alert
Police attended a security alert in Strabane on Friday night, July 13.
Shortly after 11.20pm a suspicious object was discovered in the Ballycolman Estate area.
A number of homes in the area were evacuated while ATO examined the object. Ballycolman Estate was also closed to traffic for a time. Following examination the object was declared a hoax. Ballycolman Estate was re-opened to traffic shortly before 4.30am.
