Security alert in Ballyronan was false alarm
A security alert in Ballyronan sparked by a suspicious object has now ended.
A PSNI spokesman said army bomb disposal officers who were tasked to the scene on Monday night examined the object and declared it to be ‘nothing untoward’.
Roads in and around Ballyronan have now re-opened.
