Security talk

A TALK on security in the home was the topic at the March meeting of Fourtowns WI when officers from the PSNI addressed the meeting.

President Gladys Russell welcomed three officers who answered questions and shared tips on safety around the home, as well as providing members with personal alarms and time switches for their homes.

Jennifer Patterson won the monthly competition on ‘How to deter an intruder’ and new member Sally Buller was welcomed to the meeting.

Caroline Ledlie thanked the speakers for their informative talk and was also congratulated on representing Fourtowns in the Music Festival where she won the Doreen Young Cup for untrained solo. Caroline was presented with her trophy at the annual meeting held in Balmoral.

Supper was provided by Jennifer Patterson and Edna Cromie.
