The speaker will be Dr Katy Radford on the topic, ‘Segregation and Separation: Views and experiences of Lurgan youth’.

The group is delighted to welcome Dr Radford who is a social anthropologist working on research and training programmes on community relations. Her interest in the needs and rights of young people stems from her time with Save the Children.

She represents the Jewish community on the OFMDFM Racial Equality Forum and has an advisory role with the Arts Council and the Commission for Victims and Survivors. This is a great opportunity to be informed about the work being done by a dedicated and gifted professional in this area of community relations.

The group is also celebrating after being winning a Pride of Craigavon Award in the Good Relations category and the committee would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who have given so much support to their ongoing programmes of Community Outreach.
