Sentencing deferred on shoplifter

SENTENCING was deferred for six months on a Ballymena woman after she admitted a shoplifting charge.

Diana Michelle Ward (24), of Dunclug Park, admitted stealing products to the value of 35.31 from a local supermarket on June 11, when she appeared at Ballymena Magistrates Court.

Deferring sentencing until March 24 next year, District Judge Des Perry told Ward: “Stay out of trouble - no more offending.”
