Serious assault
DETECTIVES in Coleraine are appealing for information following the report of a serious assault in the Burnside Park area in the early hours of this morning, Sunday, January 6.
Shortly after 3.15am police received a report that a male had received a serious laceration to his head.
He was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries, which are not believed to be life threatening.
