Service of ordination of ruling elders
1ST BALLYEASTON Presbyterian Church held a Service of Ordination at Sunday's evening service at which three new Elders were ordained.
Mrs Anne Gardiner, Mr Thomas McKnight and Mr John Waugh were formally ordained as Ruling Elders onto the Kirk session of the church.
The service was led by Rev. Chris Glover, Moderator of the Templepatrick Presbytery, who was assisted by Rev. John Murdoch, Clerk of the Presbytery, as well as Rev. James Tosh and Rev. Richard Kerr.
An evening supper was enjoyed by the congregation in the church hall after the service, which was provided by the ladies of the church.
