Service to mark end of council
A service of thanksgiving is to be held in the Civic Centre to mark the end of Craigavon Borough Council.
The ecumenical service will be open to all and will take place at a date to be decided in March.
The proposal was made by Pastor Chris Leech, of the Upper Bann Vineyard Church, on behalf of a number of church leaders in Lurgan.
It was considered at a council meeting on Monday night where councillors said they would be happy for the service to go ahead.
