The Seven Towers Leisure Centre team was recognised for offering a broad range of activities to residents and for working successfully with clubs to increase participation, health and wellbeing.

The centre has maintained the prestigious accreditation since 2001.

Chairman of Mid and East Antrim Borough Council’s Operational Committee, Ald John Carson, said: “This is further recognition of the brilliant work of staff at the leisure centre and their commitment to continually improving the range of services for citizens throughout their lifetimes.

“Quest is widely respected as a leading authority on leisure facilities.

“Its continued accreditation maintains the Seven Towers’ reputation as one of Northern Ireland’s best leisure centres.”

The centre was assessed over two days in January.

As well as inspecting a range of services and systems, a Quest assessor interviewed key staff members.
