Sex offender did not disclose holiday

A Londonderry court has heard that a convicted sex offender admitted failing to notify police when he went on holiday to France.

John Quigley, of Lisnarea Avenue, pleaded guilty of failng to notify police of his travel arrangements.

The 57-year-old also failed to provide details of his passport.The offences were committed between June 26 and July 31, last year.

Defence solicitor Seamus Quigley told the court if his client had notified police there would not have been an issue. Sentencing was adjourned until June 3rd for a probation pre-sentence report.
