Shed at Scarva House set on fire

The Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service called in extra resources from seven different regions to deal with an arson attack to a shed at Scarva House, Old Mill Road last Tuesday evening (August 19) which was reported at around 7pm.

Fire fighters were called in from Banbridge, Newry, Portadown, Warrenpoint, Lisburn, Lurgan and Armagh to deal with the large fire. The blaze at the shed, which contained a large quantity of wood, quickly spread to adjacent building and rooms. Fire fighters used four hosereel jets and two jets to extinguish the fire.
