Irene McCaffrey from Impact Fitness Bootcamp says that supporting this charity was an easy choice.

“Diabetics UK has the same philosophy as mine, with regards to nutrition and exercise. A simple regime of continued exercise and healthy eating can and can reduce the symptoms of Type 2 diabetes.

“A member of my Lurgan class has reduced his Type 2 diabetes medication by simply following a programme of clean eating, (fresh food rather processed) and regular exercise.

“He not only dropped a massive 25lbs in weight but has more energy, can walk for miles rather than a few feet and looks years younger.

“His doctor is delighted with his progress. While increasing exercise and improving eating habits helped this man manage his Type 2 diabetes and reduce his medication, people should always follow their GP’s advice when it comes to changes in medication.”

There is nothing like a bit of competition to get people motivated and the addition of such a good cause can only help to push people even harder towards their personal goals.

Giving some insight into what participation will mean for those considering taking up this challenge, Irene continued, “There are many benefits to getting involved. As well doing something fabulous for Diabetes UK you are going to get into the best shape possible and probably drop a dress size just in time for Christmas.”

She added: “The 28 day Stubborn Belly Fat Challenge will consist of 8 or 12 intense workouts using the HIIT training method, clean eating following the Paleo principles and personal accountability with me, your personal trainer – all guaranteed to get you into the best shape yet!”

All participants will be weighed, measured and a before and after picture taken. Fitness goals will be set and achieved every week.

This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who is 100% serious about finally getting the fitness results that have always eluded them. This programme will strip pounds of unwanted belly fat, and make you much stronger fitter and healthier.

Not only will the group dynamic and competitive element help to keep people motivated through the winter but there are great prizes at the end.

Irene is promising £600 worth of training and nutritional advice for the person who loses the most weight and another £600 worth of training and nutrition to the biggest fund-raiser for Diabetes UK.
