Sheep stolen in Desertmartin ‘not fit for human consumption’
Police in Magherafelt are appealing for information following the theft of sheep from land in the Lecumpher Road area of Desertmartin.
Sergeant Bruce Rhymer said: “Sometime between 3pm on Thursday 8 January and 3pm on Saturday 10 January, 8 sheep were taken from this land. I would like to stress that these sheep are not fit for human consumption as they have recently been dipped.
“I would ask anyone with any information about this incident to contact Magherafelt Police Station on the non emergency number 101. Or if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
