Ramon and Sheila were married in 1959 and set up home in Banbridge where they brought up their four children. Sadly, around 12 years ago, Mrs Jardine was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease.

A member of Banbridge Free Presbyterian Church, she is survived by her husband Ramon, sons Brian (Banbridge), Dennis (Florida) and Michael (Banbridge); daughter Alison (Banbridge); daughters-in-law, Tara, Karen and Jane; son-in-law, Ivan; nine grandchildren, two great grand children and an aunt, Mrs Helen Williamson. To these all all other relatives, sincere sympathy has been extended.

The funeral took place following a service in William Bell and Co Funeral Home taken by Mrs Jardine’s minister, the Rev W Whiteside, who paid a fitting tribute to her memory.

Two grandchildren, Rebekah and Rachel, read two poems and the hymns, ‘The Lord’s My Shepherd’, and ‘Abide with Me’ were sung. Miss Margaret Stevenson presided at the organ.
