Shelbourne Motors Nissan unveils new Juke

SHELBOURNE Motors Nissan will be unveiling the much anticipated Juke, at a special preview event on July 30, at its Tandragee Road dealership.

For one night only, Nissan’s latest model will be on show at the dealership, along with a product expert who will be on hand to explain the capabilities of this exciting new car. Refreshments will also be available on the preview night.

Orders for the new Juke can be placed on the night, with official sales starting September 24.

Part rugged SUV, part funky sports car, Juke is a ground-breaking crossover model providing a stylish alternative to the conventional hatchback.

It is truly poised to take the car market by storm.

British designed and built, the Juke brings exciting advancements in engine technology, cabin design and turbocharged efficiency, ensuring its place as one of the most influential newcomers of 2010.

Extending Nissan’s successful line up of innovative crossovers, including the Qashqai and Murano, Juke is a distinctive compact crossover with prices starting at 12,795.

Paul Ward, dealer principal at Shelbourne Motors Nissan, said: “We’ve already seen tremendous response to the Juke, but this is the first time customers can see a full-size car first-hand – we’re confident they will be impressed.

"Juke brings something new to the car market. It cements Nissan’s place as a bold and thoughtful car manufacturer.”

Available in three engine sizes: 115bhp 1.6 petrol, 187bhp 1.6 petrol turbo and 109bhp 1.5 diesel and nine colours, the Juke boasts a distinctive body, raised ride height and the option of four-wheel drive.

At the front of the car, the engine guard forms part of the air intake assembly and the lights reflect the car’s sporting ability. Split into two distinct elements, running lights and indicators frame the upper half, while the main and dipped beams are mounted lower on the nose of the car as a nod to the rally cars of the 60s and 70s.

Inside, the striking centre console is inspired by a motorcycle fuel tank finished in high gloss with large twin chrome-ringed dials marking out the dashboard, while the facia also features colour displays for the ventilation system, from Acenta grade upwards.

With seating for five and a rear bench that splits and folds flat, plus a hatchback boot with hidden storage space, the Juke is both roomy and practical.

And for owners who like to put their own stamp on their car, a full range of accessories has been developed to personalise the Juke.
