The magic doesn’t stop there with Marty T rounding off proceedings with all your favourite pop and festive songs to get you into the spirit of the season.

One extra special guest making an appearance is none other than Santa Claus, arriving in style at the plaza to help the Mayor of Craigavon, Councillor Mark Baxter switch on the lights.

Mayor Baxter said: “I am delighted to switch on Lurgan’s lights with the main man of the season – Santa Claus. I look forward to enjoying all the performances and would encourage everyone to come out and support our local groups while enjoying a joyful afternoon full of cheer and goodwill as
Christmas is officially launched in Lurgan.”
