‘Shopping event’ comes to city

From Thursday November 20 until Saturday November 22 over 70 stores in Lisburn City Centre will have special promotional offers available as part of the ‘You Got It For Less’ event.

The Chairman of the Economic Development Committee, Alderman Allan Ewart, said: “The Christmas Switch-On Event in the City sees the beginning of the festive season for Lisburn with the festive lighting in place, and for those who need to get some Christmas shopping underway this is the perfect time to start.

“There are a great variety of stores with some fantastic offers on.

“From jewellery to bicycles, or new footwear to chocolate there is plenty of choice for those ladies and gents who love to shop til they drop this Christmas.

“The Council-owned Castle Street Car Park will be open for parking and we only ask for a donation for the Mayor’s Charity, Marie Curie Cancer Care, if you decide to nake use of it.

“With over seventy stores participating in this mega promotional event, there are savings to be had across a huge range of merchandise,” concluded Mr Ewart.
