Jeremy even called upon the help of his dad, who was kind enough to let his son shout at him to enable him to practise being a Raider.

There were over 400 people auditioning for the role and Jeremy was one of three candidates who were chosen for the part.

The film, a statement from Ulidia explained, is based in a post-apocalyptic world and shows the battle to survive. Jeremy’s character is “a wild, animal-like, aggressive man who is determined to survive and willing to kill to do so”.

Jeremy is performing alongside Martin McCann, who starred in Killing Bono, The Pacific and Closing the Ring and well-known actress Mia Goth.

Filming started this month and is expected to be ready for release in cinemas next year.

When asked about his achievement, Jeremy expressed how he hopes this role will “open up to bigger and better opportunities for me in the future”.

After all, every famous actor has to start at the bottom; this is hopefully just the beginning for Jeremy, the first rung on the ladder to success.

Having dreamed of acting from the age of 10, Jeremy has always been determined and worked hard to reach his goal.

His role model is Matthew McConaughey. When asked why he had chosen this actor, he stated: “If I could do the things inside and outside of acting that McConaughey has done then I would be very happy.”

Everyone at Ulidia Integrated College is wishing Jeremy every success in his acting career and “are excited to see his debut on the big screen”.
