Show goes on at Social Club

THE show still goes on for Ballymena United Sports and Social Club in its continuing attempts to beat the axe over an unpaid VAT bill.

The Slemish Drive venue remains in negotiations with HM Revenue and Customs but in the meantime, it is still open and holding dances every Saturday night, as well as functions and other private parties/

A recent indoor car boot sale proved a big success and plans are in place to hold more of this type of event.

A special BBQ and disco will be held this Friday, September 9 for the Northern Ireland special pool team.

Among the acts lined up in the coming weeks are Barroom Buddies, Solid Gold and Stars and Stripes.
