Shrek drops in at store

Coming from ‘Far-far away’ to visit, Shrek himself arrived to meet and greet the young - and the old- in the area as part of the promotion of the new Shrek movie and the Shrek Soft Toy promotion, running in the store.

Delighting the locals, the Ogre himself spent time posing for photos with his fans.

Damian Morgan, store owner, said: “The visit from Shrek was very exciting and the children loved it! It was a great event in store and there were a lot of excited faces around and everyone was getting really excited about our instore Shrek Soft Toy promotion.”

Running in conjunction with the final Shrek Movie, ‘Shrek Forever After’, the local SPAR is offering customers the chance to collect stamps when they spend 5 in-store, and once they collect six stamps on their Shrek Saver Card they are eligible to redeem for a Shrek soft toy for only 3.99 each, offering a fantastic saving of 6 per toy.

This offer runs until September 5, with customers still being able to redeem their saver cards until September 12.
