'Sign up today for NI Water priority service'
EAST Antrim MLA Ken Robinson has urged vulnerable householders to register with Northern Ireland Water in order to be placed on their priority services register.
“Many elderly domestic customers may also have a disability or serious medical condition which makes them extremely vulnerable if there is any disruption to the water supply or problems with the sewage disposal system,” the UUP man explained.
“It is a simple matter for those who are in this vulnerable group to register and have their names placed on the NIW priority services register. This ensures that should problems arise at their location Water Service staff can quickly identify them as a priority case and respond accordingly.”
