'˜Signage needed at Milebush' Wilson

Carrickfergus and Greenisland councillor Andrew Wilson has raised the issue of road signage at a recent meeting of the Operational Services Committee at Mid and East Antrim Borough Council.

The meeting took place atCarrick Town Hall on Monday night.

In a statement, Cllr Wilson said: “I was pleased that Council had worked in partnership with Antrim and Newtownabbey Council following a request that I made for improved signage in the Shoreland’s and Hartley Hall area of Greenisland.”

“Following on from this, I raised concerns that I have consistently made for a number of years about confusing road and street signage in the Milebush area of Carrick, and hopefully, my views will be taken on board and appropriate signage can be added to the area to differentiate between Milebush Park and Crescent.
