Simpson launches new leaflet

UPPER Bann MP David Simpson has launched a new information leaflet aimed at assisting senior citizens and people on lower incomes.

Some 15,000 leaflets are currently being delivered across the constituency, with a further supply available in any of the three DUP constituency offices in Banbridge, Lurgan and Portadown.

“ Upper Bann has been short-changed regarding political representation and constituency provision in the past, and I, along with my assembly and council colleagues, are working to reverse that,” said Mr Simpson. “We led the way in establishing a level of constituency provision that befitted Upper Bann, as opposed to the failing, piecemeal and part-time provision that characterised a past marked by neglect and political abandonment. This information leaflet is just the latest manifestation of that commitment.”

The leaflet provides information on a number of important issues, including pensions, pension credit, attendance allowance and domestic rates.

Copies can be picked up at any of the three full-time DUP constituency offices.
