Simpson thanks locals for sit-out support

Mr Simpson said, “The first of my annual sit-outs was a great success. On the day people donated more than on the day of the sit out last year.”

“This really was a wonderful response. I also have to express my sincere thanks to the management and staff at Super Valu who provided lots of tea, coffee, sweets and soup.

“The people of Banbridge have excelled themselves once again and I am so thankful to them for that. I want to thank pupils and teachers of Bronte, Donard, Edenderry, St Mary’s, Banbridge High, Banbridge Academy Schools who sangbeautiful carols on the day.”
