Sing-a-long for Coleraine WI

MEMBERS of Coleraine Women's Institute were welcomed back after the summer recess by President, Helen Terrett.

Although the weather outside was wet, the ladies soon had the rafters of First Coleraine Presbyterian Church Hall ringing, with an evening of old time sing-a-long.

Leading the entertainment was well known musician Dale Harley, who ensured that everyone had a most enjoyable evening.

The members of the WI joined in with a variety of songs old and new.

Nan McQuilkan expressed a vote of thanks to Dale.

The competition for the evening was for the best old time outfit. Beth Crawford, Joan McLeod and Louie Gray were the winners. Ann Emo was the birthday girl.

After a lovely supper provided by the September hostesses, the president reminded the members that the next meeting will be the AGM on Monday, October 4.
