Sinn Fein puts forward Larne Lough candidate

Carnlough man Sean Waide has been confirmed as the Sinn Féin candidate for the Larne Lough district electoral area (DEA).

Mr Waide previously stood for Sinn Féin in the 2011 local government elections in the Larne Town ward, receiving 153 first preference votes.

He has been a Sinn Féin activist for a number of years and has been described by comrades as a mainstay of the local party.
