“The historic town of Dungannon will be our choice as the base for the full Council meetings in this interim shadow year. Sinn Féin as the largest political party on the Council is conscious of the need to ensure that current buildings are utilised to their full potential and that no additional costs to the ratepayers are incurred unnecessarily.”

“Sinn Féin councillors will be looking to ensure that the three main locations will benefit from a spread of strategic council departments and therefore will be working to ensure that key council departments are located in each area.”

“Over the next several months we will be analysing the needs of Council, Councillors and the public in determining the long term base of the new Mid Ulster Council.”

“From our perspective we want to ensure that the public can access services from

any council office location across the constituency and this is entirely feasible given technology and a flexible approach to service delivery.”
