‘Sit-out’ and walk boosts two charities

Cancer Research UK and Macmillan Cancer Care have both had their coffers boosted following a well-supported walk organised by Slimming World, Stranocum and Garvagh and a ‘sit-out’ in the centre of Ballymoney.

Jayne Workman, who runs the two centres, welcomed some 30 people to the Riverside Park where they embarked on a 3k walk in memory of loved ones who had suffered from cancer.
