Sizzling start to UFU winter season

THE Larne Ulster Farmers Union group is icking off the winter programme with a charity barbecue on the September 3 in the Wellington Rec Football Club.

The event will start at 8om sharp and all Interested in going along are encouraged to book their tickets early.

The tickets are £15 each for a steak or chicken barbecue, cooked and presented by Marty’s Kitchen. Music is provided by the popular Larne group, La Bido.

The proceeds are going to support the stroke rehabilitation unit in the Mater Hospital.

This event has proved to be very successful in the past and those planning to attend can book their tickets through the branch office in Larne 028 2827 2728.
