Young people in Carrickfergus have been making plans for the future after receiving their GCSE results.

All four secondary-level schools in the town reported positively on the performances of their students in the exams.

The Carrick Times camera captured images of some of the results recipients as they celebrated at Carrickfergus Grammar, Carrickfergus College, Downshire School and Ulidia Integrated College.
