Carrickfergus College held its annual sports assembly at the end of June, with a variety of different sporting endeavours recognised.

The overall sports day prize winners were revealed with some close competition right to the wire.

The top place girls for years 8 – 11 were: Zoe Longridge, Gemma Moore, Kara Luney and Jordan Lennon.

Kara Luney from year 10 had the most points overall.

Several pupils from years 8 to 11 were also acknowledged and awarded for their contribution and commitment to their chosen sports of football (both boys and girls), hockey, netball, rugby, and cross country.
