Slipper exchange for older people
EXCHANGE your old slippers for a FREE new pair as Home Accident Prevention Ballymena host a ‘Slipper Exchange.’
The event is being held on Tuesday, September 6 in Ballykeel Presbyterian Church Hall, 25 Crebilly Road Ballymena, from 10:00am – 2:00pm, drop in at any time.
The aim of the event is to focus on the importance of wearing appropriate footwear to prevent falls around the home and to provide other useful information in relation to falls prevention and older peoples’ services.
The slippers are FREE and will be given out on a first come, first served basis. New slippers will only be given out in exchange for old slippers.
