Small Business Awards celebrations for two Carrick firms

Carrickfergus companies have enjoyed success at the Business Eye First Trust Bank Small Business Awards.

Composites specialists IPC Mouldings claimed the title of Manufacturing Business of The Year whilst AC Automation, which provides power generation solutions, won the award for Innovative Business of the Year.

Joanne Liddle, managing director of IPC Mouldings, said: “We are absolutely delighted that we have won the Manufacturer of the Year Award at the First Trust Business Eye Small Business Awards.

The awards celebrated Northern Ireland’s top performing businesses with 50 employees or less across 12 different categories.

Des Moore, head of First Trust Bank, said: “The standard, diversity, innovation and entrepreneurial drive demonstrated at the awards were not only exciting but encouraging for the local economy and we want to congratulate all of the entrants and winners.”
