Small Business Saturday comes to Coleraine

Coleraine’s Café Culture has greatly expanded in recent years with the development of a ‘Stop and Shop’ theme into ‘Shop and Stop for Coffee’.

As the newly-established coffee capital of Northern Ireland, Coleraine is promoting ‘C Our Café Culture’ to support Small Business Saturday, December 7th.

Currently there are 20 coffee havens brewing daily in Coleraine town. To celebrate this, Coleraine Borough Council is inviting everyone to come with their voucher to shop and enjoy the café culture of Coleraine and get a drink of their choice for £1.00 all day until 5pm on December 7th.

Coffee shops have been establishing at a regular rate over the past two years in Coleraine and look like they are here to stay. While other businesses have taken longer to get established, these areas of tranquility have found the secret to longevity.

Local workers and business owners are enjoying the comfort of a chair with a view, while taking time out to enjoy their coffee haven of choice. Some host their weekly meetings and where available, make use of wifi.

Speciality coffees, teas and excellent food, including gluten-free ranges, are on offer to satisfy all tastes. However, the real attraction is to shoppers who are now enjoying coffee with their friends following an afternoon of walking the pedestrianised area in Coleraine.

So cut out your voucher and bring it with you when you shop in Coleraine and enjoy your drink for £1.00!
