Nathan McComb, Drumbeg, Craigavon, admitted two charges of criminal damage last Friday at the local magistrates’ court.

The court heard that on June 14 at 3am a 999 call was received from a female to say the defendant had smashed a window of a vehicle belonging to a neighbour.

She also said McComb had smashed her kitchen window by punching it with his hand.

The defendant had paid for the damage to the window but the amount for the car was still outstanding.

A solicitor representing McComb said that he had been in a relationship with the injured party. There had been an argument but they were now reconciled.

District Judge, Mr Mervyn Bates, adjourned the case until August 7 for a short sentence report to consider either probation or community service.
