Smiles coffee morning success

The event was organised by Leabank staff member Maureen Nolan who is going out to Romania in July for two weeks on her second mission trip.

Friend Roberta McBride is also planning another trip in December. Both ladies will be helping to support the work of The Smiles Foundation, a Christian charity bringing hope and smiles to Romania.

Barbara Morrison, Development Ambassador for The Smiles Foundation wishes to thank everyone who came along, those who donated generously and sponsored in any way.

She added: “I will be heading to Romania with both ladies and we are very grateful to management of Leabank for permitting the event and helping make it a success.

“We raised £583 and more is still coming in which will be used in our Elderly Care Home in Romania where we love and look after elderly who have been abandoned by their families and found living alone.”
