Smoke warning letters sent out

WARNING letters have been received by three premises in the Moyle area as part of enforcement of 'no smoking' rules.

A report prepared for Moyle Council said: ‘Following agreement of the Northern Chief Environmental Health Officer’s Forum Tobacco Task Group regarding the merits of an initiative to monitor ongoing compliance with smoke free legislation the Environmental Health Department took part by conducting evening visits throughout the district in December.

‘This was in addition to the ongoing monitoring visits carried out during route inspections.
