Social housing halved
THE number of social dwellings completed in Londonderry more than halved between 2008/9 and 2009/10.
The Department of Social Development (DSD) notes that 174 social houses were completed in 2008/9 but only 71 were completed last year.
In West Tyrone the number of social houses completed dipped from 46 to 16 over the two years. East Londonderry, in contrast, saw an inrease from 14 to 43 between 2008/9 and 2009/10.
