Soldiers’ charity says thanks
ABF The Soldiers’ Charity would like to acknowledge and thank members and friends of Hillsborough Social Club for their donation of £800, which was raised from their recently held charity cabaret and dance.
Mrs Brenda Hale MLA, Northern Ireland ambassador for the ABF The Soldiers’ Charity, commented, “This was a tremendous effort and the members and friends of Hillsborough Social Club must be thanked and commended for their fund-raising efforts and their continued support for this most worthy cause.
“Whilst our armed forces are actively involved in theatres of war, it is heartening that our soldiers and their families are being supported by local communities at home.”
